Just as some like to dive their hands in mud and others work dough with a secretive pleasure, I feel a constant urge to feel for the ways people understand the world. While studying sociology in Prague, Brno and Berlin, I got my hands dirty with research of remembering in formerly multicultural cities, or informality in Czech funerary culture, of religious political activism and of histories of christian youth spirituality. As a researcher, I have been involved with non-profits promoting inclusive education. Besides all this, I am a father, an occasional theologian, a tenor and a wine amateur.
