She is into cities - spaces full of possibilities and limitations. She graduated in sociology, also studied at Hong Kong Baptist University and University College London, spent time as a visiting scholar at University of Latvia and Hong Kong Polytechnical University. She is now working on her dissertation on urban participation. She is interested in urban governance and everything she sees as related - expertises, deliberation, conflicts, argumentations, (un)obduracy, and so on. She also reflects on the role of social sciences in contemporary societies and on the possibilities of mutual understanding and cooperation. Anyway, her head is full of questions all the time. She is a freelance researcher and she writes too. She enjoys reading contemporary novels, painting and wandering.
